Muskegon Risers USA Trials


Trials that were facilitated by Heroes Futbol Association and hosted by Bonaero 74 FC in Kempton Park on February 7th - 8th, proved to be a major siccess by showing the rich football talent within the East Rand. Coach Mike Lee from Muskegon Risers USA was very impressed to see the talent we had to offer for opportunities now and in the future for young players.


The following players have been signed by Muskegon Risers an Independant Professional team located in Michigan USA. Alexander Munro (Benoni), Brogan Shrimpton (Benoni), Bandile Mathandala (Kempton Park), Mathew Robinson (Benoni) and Keagan Frawly (Benoni)


There was a fantastic turnout at the trials where the age groups ranged from 15yrs to 25yrs. For the players 18yrs and below. the trials were for High School and Univerity Scholorships and most importantly scouting for players that have prospect for University Scholorships and Pro/Semi Pro teams in the future. The following two players were approached regarding selection of two available spots at Weslyan Christian High School, North Carolina USA, Sean Humphries (Benoni) and Gian-Luca Schunke (Edenvale). Heroes is still in descussion with other players and parents regarding Universaty scholorships in the near future.


The Head of Heroes Futbol Association, Sidney Frewen, "I want to thank the players and parents for taking on this challenge and the trials being held in good spirit all the players shwed great sportsmanship" "I want to thank Bonaero74 FC for hosting this event. The club Chairman Lourens van Dyk assisted us in more than one aspect. I admire Bonaero for the hard work they do in order to maintain the fields in such immaculate condition"
